
The long awaited sound reducing double glazing of the John Gibbins Gallery has been completed. Next the fitting of insulation and cladding above the glass will complete the dust and soundproofing to the Gallery . We are delighted with the quality and appearance of the glazing panels, which has opening windows to allow visitors who wish, to look over the balustrade to view the work ongoing in the workshop below.

The next element of the Gallery improvement programme will be the installation of Air conditioning which has been partly Funded by the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership for Norfolk and Suffolk
This will be followed by the installation of hardwearing non slip flooring.
We are also delighted to report that funding for an Evacuation Chair has been gifted to us by The Local Connections Fund in association with

The chair is on order and when delivered will complete the safe access and egress to and from the Gallery for disabled persons.
The Local Connections Fund is a new £4 million fund to help charities and community groups working to reduce loneliness by building community connections across England.
Through this programme and previous partnerships, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund are working together to help prevent loneliness, strengthen our communities and improve people’s lives.
