Sae Wylfing’s new mast

“We are delighted to show off Sae Wylfing’s new mast and rigging, which we decked with bunting for the Jubilee celebrations!

This completes her repairs/refit for the time being, and we are very grateful to the Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Community and Conservation Fund for awarding a grant towards the cost of the new mast.

The photos show Suffolk County Councilor Andrew Reid, Chair of the Coast and Heaths AONB Joint Advisory Committee, helping Bryan Knibbs, Chair of Woodbridge Riverside Trust to secure the rigging and Sae Wylfing’s rowing captain, Jacq Barnard

We are also very grateful to the Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Amenity and Accessibility Fund for a generous grant towards improving the lighting in the John Gibbins Gallery, which is increasingly in demand for exhibitions and events.”
