Overview
A story about the ill-fated Franklin Expedition which set out in 1845 to discover the Northwest Passage across the Arctic Circle, north of Canada.
Two ships, the Erebus and the terror set out from Greenhithe in Kent. The wrecks of both ships were finally discovered bin 2014 and 2016.
Much mystery surrounds the fate of the ships and crew members and much has been written about them.
