Come along to see the amazing work being created like the images above
The cake sale is an event to raise funds to provide frames for the amazing tapestry panels showing the timeline of the Sutton Hoo Ship, the River Deben,Woodbridge’s early years and the construction and river trials of the replica ship being built in the Longshed. There will eventually be 30 panels covering the whole story. On display on the 25th September will be those panels that are complete and framed, some that are waiting to be framed and some that are still work in progress. The Tapestry is a community project and all of the work is being done by dedicated volunteers.
The frame for each panel costs £161, to date we have funding for just seven frames
Tea and cakes will be on sale and we hope that you will join us and help us to keep this wonderful project moving forward.
