It is with great sadness that Woodbridge Riverside Trust announce the death of our dear friend and colleague “Annie”

Annie was a great stalwart of the Trust and its works, and served as Trustee and Director from June 2013 until July 2020.

She worked continuously along with many others to get the Longshed project built and In 2018 she was a signatury to the 35 year lease for the building which The Trust hold from the Town Council. For the greater part of her remaining time with the Trust she devoted her considerable energies and skills to applying for and obtaining funding to enable the fitting out of The Longshed, and to the organising of a range of events both in and around The Longshed and elsewhere

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Oh, that is so very sad to hear. Her tireless work in making the Longshed what it is today was simply astounding. A huge loss to us all.

I was so sorry to learn of Annie’s death. Alongside her early work with the Riverside Trust, Annie served on the River Deben Association committee as our very efficient website co-ordinator as well as representing what we referred to in those days as the Whisstocks Project. She will be greatly missed. Leigh Belcham, RDA Chairman 2010-2013

How very sad, Annie will certainly be missed and I shall miss her cheerful face and comments whenever I visited the Long shed.

Yes, Annie will most certainly be missed. She was a great friend and colleague over many years, always very kind and always concerned for others.
